Hanwei Practical Hand and a Half Sword by Paul Chen

Gorgeous!  Designed to meet the demand of re-enactment and stage combat, this hand-and-a-half sword by Hanwei measures an impressive 43 3/4" overall, with a 34 1/4" unsharpened fully tempered steel blade with rounded tip.  The handle is leather wrapped and features a metal cross guard and wheel pommel.  The steel-mounted wooden scabbard has metal accents at the tip and throat and is unfinished for owner customization. This impressive Practical Hand-and-a-Half sword is another weapon re-enactors will find particularly pleasing.

This piece is affordably priced and it features authentic hilt styling, with a fully tempered un-edged and un-pointed blade.  It is made to withstand rugged use while providing the level of safety required by many of today's re-enactment societies. The grip is permanently mounted and the tang is riveted for safety. The blade is fullered for balance and features 1/16" edges and a rounded tip.
